L&F Eyecare, particularly Dr. John Farmer, has a longstanding commitment to providing administrative and financial support for PNG Eye Care. Notably, Dr. Farmer co-founded this non-profit organisation 15 years ago, demonstrating his enduring dedication to its mission. The organisation, which now employs six local individuals, focuses on providing affordable glasses at Port Moresby General Hospital and various eye care clinics and hospitals across PNG

Free of charge for Veterans:

L&F Eyecare are an Optometrist in Gippsland who have a contract with the Federal Government Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to provide spectacles and consultations under this scheme.

Services, spectacles and contact lenses are available free of charge to Veterans. You can enter into agreements with L&F Eyecare for all products and services outside the DVA guidelines.

Medicare & Health Funds:

Eye tests are covered under Medicare.

L&F Eyecare bulk bills pensioners and Healthcare card holders.

For convenience we can claim your rebate for eye examinations through Medicare and for health funds through our Hicaps facility.
